I don’t know about you guys, but I have loved pouring over fun and unique gift items for the people that mean the most to me. I never thought I’d say this, but I’m going to be a little let down to return to mundane things like bookshelf styling, door updates and newly thrifted brass beauties – Okay, maybe “let down” is a bit harsh, but dreaming up pretty presents is a fun departure from the norm. Am I right, or am I right?
So today, we move on to the littles…When I sat down to put these guides together, I had initially planned to include one for “littles,” as in the human variety. But let’s face it – I don’t know the first thing about what kids want these days (as I am sans kid myself), but I am IN THE KNOW when it comes to “littles,” as in the furry variety.
Thus, today is dedicated to the pet babies in our lives – We’ve got priceless custom portraits via holiday gift cards by my cyber gal pal Kim of Yellow Brick Home’s The Pet Shop (see the ones she made for us here), toys, a leather leash for strolls around the block, a plush bed (that I wouldn’t mind lounging on myself), a HEATED bed (that I don’t think I’d fit into) and an embroidered collar. The pièce de résistance though?? A $600 litter box cover that I have been coveting for the past couple of years ever since my little sis spotted it on etsy…Midcentury, cat-loving, litter-camouflaging BLISS. Now I just have to convince John to let me buy it…
