It’s time to share what I’ve been posting over on my LTK account! Luxe Urban Dining Room:

One thing you might not know about me is that I’m fanatic about New York City. I have this long-standing dream of living in The Big Apple at one point in my life, and hope to somehow, some way make that happen. I love picturing what my little apartment would look like, which is how this Luxe Urban Dining Room design came to be. I chose space-saving furniture, like a round table, and paired the setup with an eye-catching gold and frosted glass chandelier. Deep jewel tones throughout the rest of the space help give the room moody appeal. Grab links to everything you see above here on my LTK feed.

Poppy Powder Bathroom:

We don’t have a powder room in our house, but that won’t stop me from playing around with concepts for this kind of pint-sized space, as you’ll see above. I really like how pro designers often go really big when choosing colors and patterns for powder bathrooms since they’re often tucked-away spaces that can be a little more playful than everyday bathrooms, so I decided to follow that same methodology. I picked a couple of textural wallpaper options, and paired those with a dusty blue wall tile. Contemporary gold lighting and hardware finish off the look. Pet-Friendly Lounge:

Did you hear? We adopted anther rescue kitten a few weeks ago! Stanley has been settling in with our existing pack nicely, and I feel like our little un-traditional family is finally complete after years of repeated loss (we’ve been forced to say goodbye to five of our pets in the past five years for all completely unrelated health reasons). We couldn’t love our new little guy more, and since Stanley is now constantly on my mind, I decided to put together a fun roundup of pet-themed finds for a lounge that our three cats and one dog would all love to play and lie around in. Classic Japandi Design:

In case you missed it in the DGD “Home Matters” newsletter over on Substack, I put together a custom room design inspired by the bonsai wallpaper in my collection with Fancy Walls. This classic Japandi living space is full of exactly the types of furniture and accents that I had in my mind when coming up with the concept for my “Branching Bonsai” wallpaper. My favorite accents (aside from the wall pattern, of course) are the decadent evergreen upholstered sofa, Asian-inspired lighting, and the grid-pattern rug that reminds me of a traditional shoji screen. Modern Garage Organization:

I have absolutely no business thinking about a garage reorganization project since I already have so many half-finished room makeovers on my hands, but I decided that it couldn’t hurt to at least come up with some initial ideas for how I’d transform our small garage if my schedule ever opens up. I pulled together a collection of modern totes and storage boxes alongside a range of pretty green cabinetry, plus black and white work benches to give our “someday” garage tons of functionality and usability.
