Plants, shaggy textures, bold color, wood tones—boho home décor is still one of my favorite styles to use when decorating or gathering inspiration online, so I thought I’d dedicate an entire post to it. Boho décor isn’t necessarily something that I go “all in” on in our home since the architecture of our spaces is more on the traditional side, but I try to create little visual nods throughout to pay homage to this style that I always seem to be drawn to in other people’s homes (think: using an abundance of plants, incorporating pattern through wallpaper, using earthy colors, etc.). Keep scrolling for a roundup of the boho accents currently on my wishlist, plus my best tip for nailing this kind of design style in your own home.

Which piece is your favorite from the list? It’s so hard for me to choose, but I finally narrowed it down to three top picks: the arched rattan wall shelf, that epically colorful quilt, and the shaggy pillows that feature many of the same tones as the quilt. One tip for designing a boho-inspired space is to pick at least three items to use alongside your other décor. This style of interior design seems to need a bit of saturation in terms of the amount of elements you bring in to really get the point across, so choose 3-5 boho accents to create the earthy, maximalist vibe that you’re after. Let me know your favorite picks from today’s roundup in the comments!
