*Today’s post was made possible by UniCurt Curtains, and features gifted product for the purposes of a candid review. All opinions are my own.
I’ve been slowly working our way through the house adding affordable custom curtains from UniCurt to each room, and it feels so good to have our living room done, in particular. You’ve seen how we updated the drapery in our guest room lounge and in our sunroom, and we’re so happy with how those upgrades turned out. Our custom-cut curtains are the perfect length, of course, and I love the elegant pleated detail up at the top of the panels that we chose. I spend the most time in our living room, though, so I was really anxious to have this space updated before the end of the year, that way I could enjoy the luxe feeling of heirloom style panels in a fabric chosen by me specifically for this room. UniCurt delivered yet again, and I can’t wait to show you the finished results.

Just as I explained in this past post, ordering from UniCurt is super easy. Just browse their collection of fabrics and styles to see which type of curtains work best for your aesthetic and home (they have filters available so you can search by pattern, texture, light blocking, etc.), then use their built-in digital calculator to figure out exactly what length you need to fill your space as you envision. You can then choose different details for your custom curtains, like hanging method, header style (grommet, pleated, ruffled rod pocket, etc.), and lined or unlined, among other things. Once you’ve got your perfect curtains designed on their website, just add to cart, and then order! I love that I’m able to do this on my own without having to communicate with a person, which can sometimes slow down the process. I am able to perfect my curtains with total confidence thanks to the calculator and easy questions that the web page asks during the ordering phase.

A handful of weeks later, our completely custom blush pink floral pattern curtain panels arrived, and I had them hung in less than 20 minutes. We chose their pink floral “Susie – Milk Tea” curtains with “Fancy” sheer panels to finish off the look. Our pink floral drapery panels are memory shaped (a free upgrade!), unlined, and have a double pinch pleat detail up at the top. We chose the same double pinch pleat style for our sheer panels to make them blend in nicely with our floor-to-ceiling drapes on either side. The total cost for the eight panels that we special ordered came to about $1,500, which is such a steal for completely custom curtains, I think. We will have these curtains for the rest of our time here in this house, so it’s a worthy investment. It feels good knowing that this upgrade is crossed off my list and I never have to pay for curtains again (Lord willing!).
In full transparency, I have received many, many emails from other brands who have tried to convince me to order and review their own custom curtains on my website and social media channels, but I always turn them down. I am totally loyal to UniCurt now because I know I can easily do my own ordering, their prices are affordable, and because they are clear experts in both patterned and solid-colored custom curtains (they sell roman shades now, too!). If you have any questions at all, please don’t hesitate to leave a comment or send me a private message! I know buying custom “forever” curtains is an investment, but I think it’s one you’ll appreciate as much as we have once you’re able to go for it. Let me know what you think of our new blush pink custom curtain below.
