In case you’ve missed the announcements I posted on social media, I just had to shout from the rooftops one last time that my Spring 2026 ceramics collection is now live in the DGD Pottery Etsy shop! You can see the pieces here, including more than 50 handmade one-of-a-kind tumblers, mugs, vases, magnets, spoon rests, and bowls. It’s so thrilling to see a consistent aesthetic starting to emerge within my work as the months go by. The poppy pastel colors make me feel absolutely giddy when I see them all together on my market table and studio shelves. Isn’t that the ultimate goal for any artist looking at their body of work? To feel lit up inside?

I’m so grateful to those of you who have already placed orders, and have done my best to get those shipped out same day so you can enjoy your new pottery as soon as possible. I know my (non-existent) business manager would hate for me to speak/type this, but I hope that my business never gets so big that I don’t have time to continue jotting hand-written notes to each of you to put in your packages. Connecting with customers is easily the best part of this work, and I love to hear how you’re using and loving your DGD Pottery pieces over time. Never hesitate to shoot me a message or tag me in social media posts to tell me how my ceramics have worked their way into your routines. That’s my ultimate vision for the art that I create: to have my ceramics become part of your everyday self-care rituals.

I also wanted to apologize to those of you who have heard about this launch already through the various channels on which you follow me. I feel like I’ve repeated myself so much the last week as I prepped for this big shop update, and have always been pretty self-conscious about promoting my blog and shop. That insecurity will likely never go away, but if you’ve stuck around throughout the promotion, I do sincerely appreciate you and hope that you’ve loved being along for the ride, whether or not you purchase anything! There’s never any pressure to do that, by the way. If just seeing a photo of my art makes you smile, that’s all the “compensation” I need. It has been such a fun week, and I can’t wait to continue creating for you this year.
Psssst…If you’re local, I wanted to mention that I’ll be selling my pottery in person at the First Street Flea put on by Dashing x Darling in Charlottesville, Virginia, on April 18 (the day after my 40th birthday!). Come see me and pick my work up by hand at this fun local event, which will be packed with other artisans and small business sellers.
