Since John and I live in what I consider “redneck” country here in Lynchburg, Virginia (and I say that with love since I married a redneck), I’m pretty used to seeing rustic decor every where I turn. That said, I’m no much of a distressed wood, taxidermy-loving type of gal myself, tending more towards the modern, retro era of design. But a couple of years ago, I did happen to pick up a faux antler as a tender nod back to my hometown. This past month though, I finally decided that it needed a bit of a mod facelift and so I added a few colorful DIY stripes to the points.
