I try to make a point to share lots of home décor and appliance reviews on my blog because I know just how powerful a “real life” review can be. I’m always as honest as possible, and share both the good and bad things about each item that comes through our door so that you can always, always invest with confidence and with all the facts in mind. Today’s review is no different, although this time I have nothing bad to say about the item in question. Introducing our favorite new kitchen appliance/accessory: the Wonder Oven from Our Place.

I’ve worked with Our Place for years testing their kitchen cookware and accessories, like this food storage collection that they recently came out with, which we still love. In fact, we still use everything that we’ve ever gotten from Our Place, and I genuinely tell everyone I know about their goods. They have become an integral part of our weekly meal prep routine, and our new Wonder Oven is definitely included in that.

We ordered our Wonder Oven in the color “Steam” and—at the risk of sounding trite—waited with bated breath for it to arrive. I had spotted this viral oven multiple times on social media in the kitchens of some of my favorite home influencers, and was intrigued by the idea of it. The pint-sized scale oven seemed more efficient for cooking small portions of food, and, of course, I loved the look of this particular oven. The sleek minimalist oven shape, color, and control knobs made it a natural fit for our clean, creamy mid-century kitchen.

Happily, now that we’ve had the oven for a few weeks, I can tell you that it functions just as beautifully as it looks. We use this appliance every single day without fail to do things like heat up frozen chicken fingers, bake cookies, roast veggies, broil cheese-topped flatbreads, bake chicken meatballs, and so much more. There’s even a steam function that allows us to reinvigorate older bread so it tastes like it’s fresh out of the oven for the very first time again. It cooks fast, too, so we’re able to cut down on a lot of our cooking times. Did I mention that it air fries?! We make a side of air-fried frozen French fries to have as a side with dinner nearly once a week.

It’s just so nice to have a smaller appliance that can do lots of cooking and baking for us without having to fire up our big electric oven. I feel like it saves in energy costs (our electricity bill was lower than usual this past month), and I really do love how it looks on our kitchen countertop. It’s not one of those appliances that I feel the need to hide away when it’s not in use.

The one thing I was worried about with this oven—and why I didn’t get one sooner—is the size. I thought there was no way we could actually fit one comfortably in our small kitchen, but after measuring it out I learned that it’s actually a little smaller than I anticipated, so there was no trouble getting it to work within our space constraints. That said, the inside of the oven is roomy enough to cook an entire dinner for two. We love it!
