Artsy Living Room Home Mood Board

It’s time to share what I’ve been posting over on my LTK account! I started this series because I didn’t want you to miss out on free content in case you’re not following along on LTK or Instagram, so I’ll be posting a roundup here on the blog at the end of each month to help inspire your home décor brainstorming. Don’t forget to click all the way through to LTK (links are included in the paragraph explanations below) to get direct linked access to all of the pieces in each collection.

Artsy Living Room:

I briefly tried the minimalist/neutral décor look years ago, but am so glad that I eventually found my way back to color. There’s nothing that excites me more than seeing a really bold pop of color in a space, and I’ve done my best to incorporate that concept into our real life home. This Artsy Living Room design came from my love for color and, specifically, the idea of having white painted walls styled with extra bold, bright art work. I chose a mix of contemporary furniture silhouettes, metallic lighting options, marble accents, and soft textiles to create a room that feels both inviting and invigorating—at least I think so! Boho Retro Office Home Mood Board

Boho Retro Office:

Well, you know I had to put together a work space mood board in honor of my annual “9-to-5 Style” office week, didn’t you?! I love the earthy color palette of this Boho Retro Office that I dreamed up, and the mid-century furniture, too. A few stand-out favorites from this collection include the more pattern-heavy area rug, that abstract art piece, the mirrored clock, and wooden book shelf. I actually treated myself to the acrylic magazine holder, so keep an eye on my Instagram for that installation soon! Get links to everything you see here over on my LTK account.

Pretty Pink Bedroom Home Mood BoardPretty Pink Bedroom:

I have been deep in a pink phase when it comes to home décor for the past few years, and I really would love to go all out by actually painting a room pink. My way of softening this often-polarizing color is to do a wood panel detail halfway up the wall, and then coat just the top portion of the space with pink paint, as you see demonstrated here in my Pretty Pink Bedroom mood board. I softened the girlie palette even more by including a variety of wood tones. Hits of black and gold (like this closet door and gold knob combo) help give the room some contrast, while cozy textiles in shades of plum, marigold, and dusty blue offset the pink so it feels well balanced. Get the look by shopping the products I rounded up here.

Let me know in the comments if you have a specific room or spot in your home that you’d like me to mood board next! I always make sure to prioritize follower requests first, so please do tell what’s on your list of future house projects.
