September 2025 Home Mood Boards

Neutral Natural Kitchen Mood Board

It’s time to share what I’ve been posting over on my LTK account! I started this series because I didn’t want you to miss out on free content in case you’re not following along on LTK or Instagram, so I’ll be posting a roundup here on the blog at the end of each month to help inspire your home décor brainstorming. Don’t forget to click all the way through to LTK (links are included in the paragraph explanations below) to get direct linked access to all of the pieces in each collection.

Neutral Natural Kitchen:

Our current retro 1960s kitchen is really small—much smaller than the mid-century kitchen at our last house—so every single accent packs a big punch. I try really hard to only purchase appliances and utensils that look just as good as they function, and I thought I’d do a bit of design dreaming with this mood board for a Neutral Natural Kitchen full of just that: kitchen items that you won’t mind leaving out on display during your everyday cooking routine. I’m currently coveting that under-mount mug rack myself (it’s just $15!), and the salt/pepper duo. Resources are all linked this way.

Outdoor Fall Patio Home Mood Board

Outdoor Fall Patio:

We built our DIY hardscape patio this past spring, but I, surprisingly, found myself avoiding it during the brutal heat of summer. Now that fall and cooler temperatures are here, though, I’m constantly finding myself wandering out there to sneak in fresh air and reading time with the birds singing around me. This newfound routine inspired me to put together a mood board for an Outdoor Fall Patio, complete with plush outdoor seating, weather-resistant tabletops, lighting, cozy plaid textiles, and the dreamiest outdoor fire feature you’ve ever seen (similar budget-friendly option found here). You can order the items in this collection over on my LTK feed.

Warm Modern Entry Home Mood Board

Warm Modern Entry:

An entryway can be sort of a tricky space to decorate, right? This type of room is often on the smaller side, and needs to boast quite a bit of function. That balance isn’t always easy to find when shopping for home décor. With this conundrum in mind, I put together a mood board for a Warm Modern Entry that feels both sophisticated and welcoming, while also incorporating plenty of storage, color, and a soft place to land. Target Fall Décor Home Mood Board

Target Fall Décor:

Earlier this month I was in the midst of decorating our sunroom for a fun fall collaboration, so I bee-lined over to Target to see what kinds of seasonal options they had on hand for me to use in the space. After weaving my way through the aisles, I came away with tons of fall items on my wishlist but I could only choose a couple of things for my real life space. Not wanting to let the treasures in their current collection go unnoticed, I put together a full roundup of Target Fall Décor favorites on my LTK feed, which you can shop here. Hopefully, some are still in stock for you! I hate how quickly things sell out at Target. It seems like I can never get links out quickly enough, but I have my fingers crossed with this lineup of seasonal favorites.

Let me know in the comments if you have a specific room or spot in your home that you’d like me to mood board next! I always make sure to prioritize follower requests first, so please do tell what’s on your list of future house projects.
