Despite the fact that I have been on a major purge kick (because of the book mentioned in this post) I still have an insane amount of crafts and props hoarded away in my studio for home and blog projects. This was the hardest category of items for me to go through during my reorganization efforts last week because, really, they are my livelihood! I use everything at least on a weekly basis, and props—although some might call them superfluous—are the only reason my photos have even a chance of looking pulled together and thoughtful.
All this to say that I couldn’t have made my overflow of craft supplies work in our home without a slew of new organization goodies from the Home Depot. I was tasked by the team to put together a story on Creative Craft Room Storage And Organization, and had no problem tossing out old cardboard boxes and mismatched bins in lieu of sleek new Martha Stewart shelving, clear drawers and crates.
To see the full feature, hop over to the Home Depot Apron blog, where I’m divulging the new system I have in place for corralling the mess and making the most out of every square inch in my office slash studio. In case crafting isn’t your jam, the Home Depot team invited a couple of other bloggers to put together breakdowns on garage and kids’ organization, too. Click those links to get the scoop, and happy weekend to you and yours—especially if you have some reorganizing up your sleeve!
