Weekend Inspiration: No. 49

Weekend Inspiration: No. 49

Who’s ready for a weekend full of rest and relaxation? After a whirlwind trip to North Carolina last weekend to visit with my sister (not to mention a busy week afterward in my office catching up), I’m planning to head into the next two days with absolutely nothing on my to-do list. I’ve got a frozen pizza with my name on it in the freezer and a newly checked-out copy of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince on the coffee table, but that’s about all I have planned. Come Monday, I’ve got another jam-packed work week ahead, so this weekend is going to be my way of gearing up for lots of exciting new projects that I have in the works.

What do you have planned? Maybe some shopping? Painting a room in your home or apartment? Or are you, like me, planning to lay extra low and stay in PJs all day? Let me know in the comments below, and then keep scrolling to find out what caught my eye in between work deadlines this past week.

Weekend Inspiration: No. 49

1. The only other thing I might actually consider doing this weekend is propagate a few of our houseplants using this handy guide.

2. I wrapped up one final project for the team at Oriental Trading before (amicably!) parting ways with the brand last month. See my 10 DIY Wall Hanging Ideas story on their Fun365 website this way!

3. This small space kitchen makeover makes me want to paint our cabinets white. Is that crazy?!

4. Speaking of pretty kitchens, I’m smitten with the green paint they used here to freshen up the space.

5. How beautiful is this removable wallpaper?! I love how Emily Henderson used it in this office makeover.

6. In case you missed it, Collection No.5 went live in the DGD Pottery shop earlier this week. See what’s left of the six new items on Etsy here.

7. My trip to North Carolina last weekend made me want to book another trip out of town ASAP. Remember when my sister and I went to DC and stayed at the Watergate Hotel last March? I’m considering a return stay in May or June.
