Done In One Dozen: Your Spring Wardrobe From Madewell

EDITOR’S NOTE: Welcome to the fully refreshed Dream Green DIY! I’ve spent the last week behind the scenes refreshing the website to a modern responsive format (click and drag your window to see the auto response in action), and am so excited to continue my quest to reinvent DGD with a new sophisticated look and palette. Please take a look around—specifically the much improved home page—and let me know if you have any major questions or problems. I’m still working out the kinks, but am really excited to debut the fresh face of DGD. Now on to today’s main story below!

In an effort to share the most practical content I can here on Dream Green DIY in 2017, I wanted to kick off a new series called “Done In A Dozen.” As the name suggests, I plan to curate mini collections of 12 items that will help you cross off your shopping list in one fell swoop without having to leave your home (or even get out of your PJs). Whether you’re working on a bathroom accessory refresh, or just need to wake up your tired spice rack, my hope is that these 12-piece roundups will make the process an easier, more inspired one.

First up in the series I’ve put together a collection based all around spring style. We’re slated to get a new Madewell store in nearby Charlottesville tomorrow, and I can’t wait to peruse the racks for new pieces to beef up my seasonal ensembles. I’m nuts for neutrals this year, and love that all of these items mix and match with ease—and most of them work right now for winter, too, with just a few extra layers added on top.

Which pieces from the dozen caught your eye? And let me ask you this: what types of items would you like me to curate next? Leave your picks and suggestions in the comments below!
