30 Things To Do In Your 30’s

30 Things To Do In Your 30s | dreamgreendiy.com

Well, it’s official! As of yesterday, I’m 30 years old, and ready to take this brand new decade right by the horns. I am excited to turn over a new leaf, as they say, in my 30’s and hope to make lots of really big memories and experience some spontaneous milestones, too. Although there’s absolutely no telling what I’ll ultimately get up to as a 30-something, here’s a list of a few of the things I hope to make happen before I turn 40. Who’s with me?!

  1. Travel to Europe
  2. Establish a good workout routine
  3. Continue my vegetarian diet
  4. Go back to school for something
  5. Throw more real parties (as opposed to faux ones for the blog)
  6. Take a cruise
  7. Learn French over again
  8. Make new friends
  9. Take more walks
  10. Take a pottery class
  11. Come up with THE BIG IDEA
  12. Take horseback riding lessons again
  13. Learn how to sew
  14. Find my signature scent
  15. Take better care of my skin
  16. Go to the top of the Empire State Building
  17. Go to more movies by myself
  18. Take up gardening
  19. Draw more
  20. Learn woodworking
  21. Ride my bike more
  22. Take a painting class
  23. Get more into politics
  24. Go to more concerts
  25. Get in front of the camera more often
  26. Figure out what the stock market actually is
  27. Shop less
  28. Save more
  29. Spend more time by the river with John
  30. Send more letters and cards

What are a few of the things on your bucket list for the next 10 years? And, my fellow 30-somethings: what are you hoping to accomplish before turning the big 4-0? I’d really love to know, so leave a comment below, and maybe (just maybe!) I’ll add it to my list, too.
