Did you hear?! Christmas came a little bit early for me this season! I recently found out that my DIY stenciled and painted dresser was included in I Did It! magazine, a special publication from Better Homes and Gardens. The magazine hit newsstands last week, but I was able to get my hands on an advance copy so that I could share the exciting news with you guys ahead of Christmas vacation. The best part of all this is having the chance to be featured alongside some of my very favorite fellow bloggers (Hi, Jenni! Looking good, cover girl!).

I may or may not (okay, I definitely did) pick up some extra copies from the bookstore to give to my mom and mother-in-law this Christmas. It still blows my mind that Better Homes thought that my painted dresser was worthy of spotlighting in the first place back in 2013, but to see it in print yet again for this brand new magazine has me feeling even more grateful for this crazy job of mine.

Head to your local newsstand to check out the 96-page magazine in person, and trust me when I say that you won’t want to miss this one. It’s filled, packed, LOADED with DIY crafting ideas and interior design advice from creatives all over the country. I’ve been pouring over the magazine since receiving it, and have all sorts of to-do notes and project ideas written in the margins for 2017.

If you’ve been in need of some crafting inspiration and/or motivation, this magazine is bound to do the trick. And don’t forget to give me (long hair circa 2013, and all!) a little wave while you’re at it. Thanks BHG!
